Terms of Service

By creating a TagWatch account or using the TagWatch service, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

TagWatch is operated by Grip Analytics, based in the Netherlands. "We", "us", and "our" refer to Grip Analytics. "You" refers to the person or organisation using the service.

TagWatch is a tag and event monitoring service for websites. It monitors Google Tag Manager containers, tracking pixels, and event volumes, and sends alerts when anomalies are detected. If you connect an advertising or analytics account, it also watches the conversion numbers those platforms report, currently Google Analytics 4, Google Ads and Meta.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time. We will give reasonable notice of material changes where possible.

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

You may not share your account with others or use the service to monitor websites you do not own or have explicit permission to monitor.

TagWatch is offered on a subscription basis. Plans are billed monthly and renew automatically unless cancelled. Prices are listed on the pricing page and are exclusive of VAT where applicable.

Payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorise us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis.

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your billing settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not issue refunds for partial periods unless required by applicable law.

We reserve the right to change pricing. We will notify you at least 30 days in advance of any price changes. Continued use after the price change takes effect constitutes acceptance.

New accounts receive a 14-day free trial. No credit card is required to start a trial. At the end of the trial, you must subscribe to continue using the service. We reserve the right to modify or end the trial offer at any time.

Each plan includes a maximum number of domains. If you reach the limit, you will need to upgrade your plan to add more domains. Monitor counts and other limits are listed on the pricing page.

Agency features allow you to manage client workspaces from a single account. Agency accounts are subject to the same terms as individual accounts. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the service on behalf of clients complies with these terms.

Agency-billed client subscriptions are governed by these terms. You are responsible for payment of all agency-billed client subscriptions.

You may not use TagWatch to:

• Monitor websites you do not own or have permission to monitor
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Interfere with or disrupt the service or its infrastructure
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the service
• Resell or sublicense the service without our written permission

TagWatch can connect to third-party platforms, currently Google (Analytics 4, Ads and Tag Manager) and Meta, to read the numbers it monitors. Those connections are optional, always read only, and you can remove them at any time in Settings.

By connecting an account you confirm that you are authorised to grant that access, whether the account belongs to you or to a client you act for. You remain responsible for complying with the terms of the platform in question, including Google's API terms and the Meta Platform Terms, and for having whatever permission your client relationship requires.

We use the access solely to provide the monitoring you set up. We do not create, change or delete anything in your advertising accounts, we do not read personal data about the people who saw or clicked your ads, and we do not sell or repurpose what we read. What we store and for how long is described in our Privacy Policy.

These platforms are outside our control. If a platform changes its API, restricts access, or reports numbers differently, the monitoring that depends on it may change or stop working, and that is not a failure of the service under these terms.

Our collection and use of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms. It also explains how to delete your data, including the data obtained through any account you connect.

TagWatch and all related software, designs, and content are owned by Grip Analytics. These terms do not grant you any rights to our intellectual property other than a limited licence to use the service as described here.

You retain ownership of all data and content you bring to the service.

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding reliability, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose.

TagWatch is a monitoring tool. We do not guarantee that every tag failure or anomaly will be detected. You remain responsible for the accuracy and reliability of your own tracking implementation.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Grip Analytics shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to lost revenue, lost data, or business interruption.

Our total liability for any claim arising from these terms or your use of the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the three months prior to the claim.

You may close your account at any time from your account settings. We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms, with or without notice depending on the severity of the breach.

Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately. Data associated with your account will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Netherlands.

If you are a consumer in the EU, you may also be entitled to the mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence.

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you by email at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use of the service after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
